Jason Fields

Jason Fields is an experienced media professional currently serving as the Deputy Opinion Editor at Newsweek since June 2022. Fields has a rich background in editorial roles, including Deputy Editor at Future and Editor at Thomson Reuters Foundation, where coverage focused on critical social issues like human trafficking. As a Co-Host, Creator, and Producer of the Angry Planet Podcast at War College LLC, Fields leads a popular subscription show discussing global conflict. Additional experience includes digital media consulting for the World Bank Group and directing creative projects at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. Fields holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Mathematics from St. John's College.
