Marcio Pereira Lima

Marcio Pereira Lima has over 20 years of experience in finance, with a focus on financial planning, accounting, controlling, and treasury. Marcio has been the Head of Finance and Tax at Nexans since November 2020, where they manage the Treasury team, oversees financing and relationships with financial institutions, develops investment management strategies, and ensures tax compliance. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Controlling, Accounting, and Treasury at Sistac - Sistemas De Acesso from May 2018 to December 2019. Marcio also worked as a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager at Central Resources, Inc from June 2012 to May 2018, and as a Cost Controller at Ocean Rig from November 2011 to June 2012. Marcio's experience also includes roles at Seadrill, Contax S.A., TIM, Rexam Beverage Cans South America, Accenture, and PricewaterhouseCoopers Auditores Independents, where they gained expertise in various aspects of financial management and auditing.

Marcio Pereira Lima holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Corporate Finance from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, which they completed in 2006. In 2013, they obtained another MBA, specializing in Business Management in E&P, from the Instituto Brasileiro de Petróleo, Gás e Biocombustíveis. Marcio pursued further education in business and society, earning a Master's degree from TIAS School for Business and Society in 2018, with a focus on balancing business and society from a European perspective. In 2018, they also completed a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Business Administration and Management from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas.

Marcio has also pursued executive education at the University of Cambridge in 2020, specializing in Business/Office Automation/Technology/Data Entry.

Additionally, they hold several certifications, including an MBA Tax Management Program from Trevisan Escola de Negócios (expected completion in 2022), FCPA - Foreign Corrupt Practices Act from Click 4 Compliance (now Workplace Answers) in 2016, and a Certified Economist designation from CORECON-RJ (1ª Região) na Conselho Regional de Economia-RJ.

Marcio Pereira Lima completed their undergraduate studies and received a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Universidade Federal Rural do Rio de Janeiro in 2001.
