Pierre Kayoun

Pierre Kayoun has a diverse and extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Pierre started their career in 1983 as an R&D Engineer in the Fiber Optic Group of Thomson CSF. After that, they joined Amphenol in 1987 and held various roles including Technical Director, Sales and Marketing Director, and Fiber Optic Division European Director. In 2001, Pierre became the General Manager at Nexans Interface, where they worked until 2003. Pierre then transitioned to Nexans, where they held the positions of Vice President of Marketing, Vice President of Sales & Marketing for the High Voltage Group, and eventually became the Corporate Vice President of Innovation & Technology in 2015. Overall, Pierre Kayoun has demonstrated expertise and leadership in different areas of the telecommunications industry throughout their career.

Pierre Kayoun has a strong educational background in the field of optics and physics. Pierre obtained their Engineer's degree in Electronics & Optics from Ecole Centrale in France in 1979. Pierre went on to pursue a PhD in Physics-Optics from Nice University from 1978 to 1981. Following this, they completed their Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from IAE Sorbonne between 1979 and 1981. Pierre then pursued a Post Doctoral degree in Optics at MIT Cambridge USA from 1981 to 1983.
