Ana Pereira

Ana Pereira has worked in various roles across multiple organizations since 2013. In 2013, they began as an Intern at Direção Geral da Reinserção e Serviços Prisionais, where they provided technical assistance for courts regarding underage and adult legal issues. In 2014, they moved to Universidad de Santiago de Compostela, where they worked as a Researcher in the Forensic Psychology Unit. During this time, they planned and conducted an investigation in a prison environment and has 3 published papers on the subject. In 2015, they returned to Direção Geral da Reinserção e Serviços Prisionais as an Evaluator/HR Consultant. In 2016, they joined Ditame - Gestão de Pessoas as a Recruiter/HR Consultant, where they were responsible for full recruitment & selection, sourcing, psychological and skills assessment, managing temporary workers and providing human resources management consultancy. In 2019, they moved to Veniam as a People & Values Manager, where they were accountable for essentially all-things people and culture. Ana built, communicated, advised, and acted on a wide range of people metrics and success indicators that played a crucial role in strategy and decision-making. In 2022, they joined Nexar Inc. as an HR Manager & Organizational Developer, where they were the owner of all-things people and culture for the Portugal team (~30 people) with a global organizational development role in reviewing and implementing processes. Ana had one direct report - office manager and HR generalist.

Ana Pereira obtained their Licentiate degree in Psychology from Universidade de Aveiro in 2012. Ana then went on to earn their Master's degree in Forensic Psychology from the same university in 2014. In 2017-2018, they completed a Post-Graduation in People Management in Organizations from Universidade de Coimbra/Universidade Aberta. In addition, Ana has obtained a number of certifications from institutions such as LinkedIn, Rails Girls Portugal, Liftoff - Gabinete de Empreendedorismo da Associação Académica da Universidade do Minho, Câmara Municipal do Porto, Universidad de Santiago de Compostela, Forum Estudante, Associação Portuguesa de Psicologia, Núcleo de Estudantes de Psicologia da Universidade de Aveiro, Gabinete de Estágios e Saídas Profissionais da Universidade de Aveiro, and Departamento de Educação da Universidade de Aveiro.
