Dean Becker

Dean Becker has a long and successful career in sales and business development. Dean began their career in 1997 as Sales Director for Evox Advanced Nutrition, where they learned the needs of both end user and retailer and created a team to excel in a cut-throat industry. This led to the brand being acquired by an FMCG stock market listed company. In 2014, they became National Sales Manager Sports Nutrition- FMCG for Ascendis Health, bringing together two intense rivals in FMCG and combining them into one dynamic sales team. In 2016, they became Global Sales Manager- SAAS for Syenap (Pty) Ltd Retail Analytics, where they were successful in various regions worldwide and was able to become both end-user and reseller focussed. In 2018, they became Chief Operating Officer for Blue Mango Distributors, a provider of expert sales and merchandising services. Most recently, in 2021, they began working as a Business Development Representative for Nexar Inc., a data analytics company that supplies cities with real time information on their roads through a network of 100,000+ connected dash cams and AI analytics tools.

Dean Becker is currently studying Hebrew at Ulpan Beit Erdshtein since 2021. Prior to that, they attended the University of the Witwatersrand from 1998 to 2000, but did not complete their Bachelor of Commerce degree. Before that, they earned a Matric with University entrance from Eden College in 1992-1997.
