Tanwir manages the Transaction Advisory practice and is responsible for its growth and operational excellence. With over 14 years of experience across Financial Due Diligence, Business Valuations, Mergers and Acquisition (M&A) and Joint Venture (JV) Advisory, Divestitures, Restructuring, Equity and Asset Purchase Deals, and Transaction Structuring, he is adept at handling every aspect of a transaction. Tanwir’s strategic focus and blend of analytical and commercial inputs have helped him deliver value-add solutions for many clients.

Tanwir has successfully managed a diverse portfolio of clients from sectors including retail, hospitality, automotive ancillaries, pharmaceuticals, IT-enabled services, electronics, telecom engineering, real estate, agriculture, education, logistics, chemicals, food and packaging, etc. He has executed end-to-end advisory for many strategic investors in relation to their JV and Acquisition plans in India. He has also conducted Financial Due Diligences and Portfolio Valuations for private equity funds.

Tanwir is capable of handling complex business and intangibles valuations across diversified industries. He has worked on crucial valuation assignments and has also carried out several complex Due Diligence, M&A/JV Advisory, and Transaction Structuring assignments across sectors.

Tanwir has been invited to speak on multiple aspects of transactions by several international organizations, including the Indo-Italian Chamber of Commerce, European Business Group, and the Japan Machinery Center to name a few. Tanwir has also been published in leading newspapers and news portals, including Moneycontrol and Hindustan Times.

Tanwir is a qualified Chartered Accountant and has completed his Master’s in Commerce from the University of Pune. He also holds a Master’s in Business Administration from London Metropolitan University, UK.

On a personal note, Tanwir enjoys playing cricket and badminton. He also likes to read up on listed companies and studying the intricacies of their businesses.
