Luca Traino

Luca Traino has extensive experience in the field of information security and consulting. Currently, they serve as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Service HUB SpA (Nexi Group) and also holds the position of Head of Security Business Partner at Nexi Group. Prior to these roles, Luca worked as a Security Engineering and Business Partner Manager at SIA S.p.A.

Before joining SIA S.p.A., Luca held several positions at PwC Italy, including Cyber Security Manager and Senior Information Security Consultant. Luca also gained experience as a Security Consultant at UniCredit and as an IT Security Consultant at Lutech. Additionally, Luca began their professional career as a Tirocinante at Sevenone Solution.

Luca Traino completed their education at the Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II from 2003 to 2014, where they obtained a Laurea degree in Ingegneria elettrica ed elettronica.

Additionally, they have obtained several certifications. In May 2016, Luca became an ISO 27001 Lead Auditor from ACM CERT S.r.l. In June 2017, they obtained the Junior Penetration Tester certification from eLearnSecurity. In March 2018, Luca acquired the GCIH - GIAC Certified Incident Handler certification from the SANS Institute. Luca also completed the ISO 22301 Lead Auditor certification from ACM CERT S.r.l. in June 2018. Lastly, in March 2018, Luca received the HUET (Helicopter Underwater Emergency Training) certification from OPITO.
