Michelle Lindblad Nissén

Head of DEI and Talent Partner at Nexi Group

Michelle Lindblad Nissén has extensive work experience in human resources and talent management. Their most recent role was as Head of DEI and Talent Partner at Nexi Group, where they focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. Prior to that, they served as the HR Director for CIO and CHRO at Nexi Group and as the HR Director for Issuer and eSecurity.

Before joining Nexi Group, Nissén worked at Pandora as the HR Director for Global Office, where they supported various functions including Global Business Services, Business Development, and Legal and Compliance. Michelle also played a key role in handling the Covid-19 pandemic.

Nissén's previous experience includes roles at Maersk Drilling, AMS, Maersk Procurement, and Maersk Line. At Maersk Drilling, they held several positions including Reward Partner and Global Head of Mobility and Benefits, HR Readiness Manager, Global Head of Recruitment and Senior HR Business Partner to Finance, and Head of Manning and Global HR Services.

At AMS, Nissén served as the Head of Human Resources, HR Business Manager, and Group Recruitment Manager. At Maersk Procurement, they worked as an HR Business Partner for Category Management and Strategic Sourcing.

Nissén began their career at Maersk Drilling and Maersk Line as a MISE Trainee, where they gained experience in various HR activities and coordination.

Overall, Nissén's work experience showcases their expertise in HR strategy, talent management, diversity and inclusion, and HR operations in various industries.

Michelle Lindblad Nissén completed their high school education at Viborg Handelsskole from 2003 to 2006, focusing on Economics, Spanish, French, and English. Michelle then pursued further education at Copenhagen Business School from 2006 to 2011, earning a degree in Organizational Leadership and Human Resource Management. During the same period, from 2006 to 2008, they also attended Maersk International Shipping Education, where they obtained a degree in Shipping related topics and Personal Development.

In terms of additional certifications, Michelle obtained the PRINCE2® Foundation Certification Training from AXELOS Global Best Practice in June 2019. Michelle also received an eCourse certification in "Understanding and Designing Progressive Organizational Structures" from Corporate Rebels in April 2022. Additionally, they became a board member of Board Company in November 2022.
