Alastair McTavish has extensive work experience in learning and development, primarily in international settings. Alastair McTavish's education history includes a BA (Hons) in Business Studies specializing in Marketing from Sheffield Hallam University, which they obtained from 1997 to 2001. In 2005 to 2006, they pursued a Chartered Institute of Marketing Professional Postgraduate Marketing Diploma at the London School of Marketing. From 2006 to 2008, Alastair took a Chinese Mandarin course, including Business Chinese, at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. In 2008 to 2009, they gained Associate Membership in International Trade from The Institute of Export and International Trade (IOE) in the UK. In 2014, they completed the Training for the Trainer - Soft Skills Trainer International Certification Programme at Schouten China, one of Europe's largest corporate training companies. Additionally, in 2014, Alastair obtained the International Soft Skills Trainer Certification from IRCES (International Register of Certified Educational Services). Alastair completed their secondary education at Sevenoaks School.
