Scott Drinkall

Scott Drinkall is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in research and communications. Currently serving as an Associate at Nexight Group since July 2019, Scott has held positions that include Research and Communications Analyst at Nexight Group, Visiting Researcher at the Environmental Law Institute, and Contractor and DC GeoBee Coordinator at National Geographic. Scott's background includes roles as a Research Analyst with University Research Co., LLC, and Program Coordinator at the Institute of International Education. Prior experience features work as a Legislative Analyst and Aide in the Hawaii State House of Representatives, as well as international consulting and internships with IFChina Studio, the Centre for Social Research and Development, and the United Nations. Scott is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy at George Mason University’s Schar School of Policy and Government, and holds advanced degrees in Geography from the University of Miami, English from Hardin-Simmons University, and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan.
