Drew Koivu

Drew Koivu has a wealth of experience in various roles within the real estate industry. Drew is currently serving as a Corporate Director at ViveRE Communities Inc. Prior to this, they held the position of Managing Director and Principal at Avison Young Commercial Real Estate, US Apartment Fund, where they were responsible for overseeing fund operations and property acquisitions and dispositions. Drew also worked as a Principal in Capital Markets at Avison Young and as a Director in Real Estate at BMO Capital Markets. Drew began their career as a Vice President at Cushman & Wakefield and a Sales Representative at CBRE. Before entering the real estate field, Drew worked as a System Engineer at IBM Canada Ltd.

Drew Koivu completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Industrial Engineering at the University of Toronto from 1986 to 1990. Drew later pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Real Estate at Schulich School of Business - York University from 1991 to 1995.
