Eduardo Tamaki

Eduardo Tamaki has over 12 years of work experience in various technology roles. Eduardo recently joined Mevo as an Engineering Manager and Partner in May 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Tech Lead at Mevo from August 2021 to May 2022. Before joining Mevo, Eduardo worked at SMARKIO Brasil as a Tech Lead and Software Architect from November 2020 to August 2021. Eduardo also has experience as a Tech Lead at Pushnews, where they were responsible for architecting and building a platform for push notifications from June 2019 to November 2020. Additionally, Eduardo was the CTO and Co-Founder of Tuuris.com, a travel marketplace, from May 2017 to June 2020. Eduardo managed a small team of developers and led the project using Ruby, Rails, Docker, and Vue. Eduardo has also worked as a Full Stack Engineer at mindbase from November 2018 to June 2019. Eduardo co-founded Encontre Barato, a price comparison app, where they served as the Head of Technology from January 2012 to July 2017. Earlier in their career, Eduardo held roles such as IT Manager at Adclick, SA from June 2013 to July 2014, Technology Manager at Leadmedia Group from December 2012 to May 2013, and Product Manager and Developer at Media Factory from August 2011 to December 2012. Prior to that, they worked as a Lead Ruby on Rails Developer at MestreSEO from July 2009 to August 2011, where they also had responsibilities in product management, project management, and team coordination. Eduardo has expertise in technologies such as Ruby on Rails, PHP, AWS, Docker, MySQL, and Google AdWords API.

Eduardo Tamaki has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universidade Federal de Itajubá, which they obtained from 2005 to 2009. Eduardo then pursued a Specialist degree in Web Engineering at the same university from 2010 to 2011. In 2018, they attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) to study Digital Transformation and Platform Strategies. Additionally, in 2010 and 2011, they obtained an MBA in Marketing from FACESM.

Eduardo Tamaki also holds the certification of AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, which was obtained from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in July 2021.
