Joseph Bell

Joseph Bell's work experience includes a combination of leadership and consulting roles in the visual effects and entertainment design industry. Joseph is currently the Head of Studio at NEXODUS Cooperative, where they are responsible for increasing the company's visibility and connecting them with new clients. Prior to that, they were a New Business Consultant and Executive Producer at HDRI Consulting and CoSA VFX respectively. Joseph has also held positions such as Interim Managing Director at Territory Studio, General Manager at The Mill, and COO/EVP Production at FuseFX. Joseph's career began at Pixel Magic as a Digital Producer and they later worked at Digital Dimension and Industrial Light & Magic as a Production Manager and Associate Production Technology Manager respectively. Throughout their career, Joseph has showcased their expertise in managing teams, developing efficient workflows, and delivering superior service to clients.

Joseph Bell's education history includes various degrees and certifications. Joseph obtained an MBA, specializing in Global Executive MBA for Asia Pacific, from UCLA Anderson School of Management in 2017. During the same period, they also completed an executive MBA program called UCLA - NUS Executive MBA at the National University of Singapore.

In 2005, Joseph received an MFA in Film-TV Production from the University of Southern California, where they studied for two years. Before that, in 2000, they attended Dartmouth College for a Scholarship Term but did not obtain a specific degree. Earlier in their academic career, from 1997 to 2001, Joseph pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and Psychology at The University of Edinburgh.

Additionally, Joseph has acquired several certifications. In 2017, they earned a Data Analytics Circuit certification from General Assembly, an Easton Certificate in Technology Management from UCLA Anderson School of Management, and a Leaders in Sustainability Graduate Certificate from the University of California, Los Angeles. In the previous year, they completed workshops in Data Science for Managers: Applications, Visualization, and Storytelling as well as Introduction to Data Science, offered by Cognitir. Furthermore, in 2013, they obtained the Leave No Trace Trainer certification from the Leave No Trace Center For Outdoor Ethics.
