Arjun Rajaratnam

Arjun Rajaratnam has a long and varied career in the legal and environmental services industries. Arjun began their career in 1983 as Manager of Environmental Systems at BKK Corp. and then moved to Bryan Stirrat & Associates in 1985 as Director of Environmental Services. In 1990, they joined Sidley Austin LLP as an Associate, where they provided legal counsel for compliance, permitting, auditing and litigation. In 1995, they joined GlaxoSmithKline as a Compliance Officer, Senior Counsel, US Pharma, where they developed the first corporate compliance program for a large pharmaceutical company. In 2009, they became Chief Compliance and Risk Officer at Smith & Nephew. In 2019, they were appointed Chief Executive Officer at DSLR, Inc., and in 2022 they assumed the role of General Counsel at Next Century Spirits. Most recently, in 2020, they were appointed President at Extrel Therapeutics, Inc.

Arjun Rajaratnam obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Madras, followed by a Master's degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Southern California. Arjun then went on to earn a Juris Doctor in Law from Loyola Marymount University.
