Mark Blake

Mark Blake has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Mark is currently working as a Partner at Ubon Partners, starting in June 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Non Executive Director at Next DLP since February 2018. Additionally, they served as a Non Executive Director at Ava Security from February 2018 until March 2022. Mark also worked as a Research Consultant in Machine Learning at Arm from March 2021 to September 2021. Mark held a significant role at Cisco as the CTO of the Collaboration Video Technology Group from January 2016 to January 2018. Before this, Mark was the CTO and Head of R&D at Acano from May 2015 to January 2016, and the Founder and CTO from October 2011 to May 2015. Mark started their professional career at Codian, where they worked as a Founder and Software Engineer from January 2002 to September 2007. Mark also had roles as a Senior Solutions Architect at Tilera Corporation from March 2011 to September 2011, and as a Software Engineer at Cisco Systems from April 2010 to February 2011. Mark began their career as a Software Engineer at TANDBERG from September 2007 to April 2010. Overall, Mark Blake has an extensive background in technology leadership and development roles.

Mark Blake completed their education at the University of Oxford. From 1994 to 1997, they obtained an MA degree in Maths. Following this, they pursued further studies and completed a DPhil in Pure Maths, spanning from 1997 to 2000.
