Katijah Wellings Thomas

Katijah Wellings Thomas has several years of experience in the gaming industry. Katijah started their career as a Retail Sales Associate at Clarks, where they provided excellent customer service and fitted children's footwear. Katijah then worked as a Designer at Octopus 8 Studios, where they designed and built levels and composed the soundtrack for an original game. Katijah also worked as a Trampolining coach at Phoenix Flyers, where they taught gymnasts of all ages and abilities, maintained a safe atmosphere, and organized club events. Katijah then transitioned to the gaming industry and worked as a Junior Level Designer at King, where they worked on the freemium game Farm Heroes Saga. Katijah later became a Level Designer at King, where they were responsible for maintaining the game content and live operations. Most recently, they joined Next Games as a Game Designer.

Katijah Wellings Thomas attended Brunel University London from 2012 to 2015, where they pursued a degree in Games Design and Creative Writing, with a focus on Computer Games and Programming Skills. Additionally, in May 2014, they obtained a Level 1 Trampolining Coach certification from British Gymnastics. In April 2009, they also achieved Grade 3 Classical piano certification from ABRSM.
