Michael Ostrea

Michael Ostrea has four years of professional work experience. In 2021, they began working as a Technical Recruiter, Engineering for Next Glass, where they were the first hire for an internal recruiting initiative. In 2020, they worked as a Technical Sourcer, Engineering for Masimo, engaging technical talent within a fast-paced dynamic work environment. In 2019, they worked as a Technical Recruiter for Collabera Inc., managing search processes and engagements from inception to completion. In 2016, they worked as an Athletics Recruiting Coordinator for Vanguard University of Southern California, managing a large talent pool of local collegiate athletes and collaborating with local college coaches, staff, and recruiting coordinators.

Michael Ostrea began their educational journey by obtaining an Associate of Arts (AA) in Social Sciences and Kinesiology Physical Education/Recreation from Long Beach City College. Michael then continued their studies at Vanguard University of Southern California, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Kinesiology and Exercise Science. In 2017, Michael went on to pursue a Masters, M.A. in Athletic Administration from Concordia University Irvine, which they completed in 2018. In 2019, Michael obtained a Project Management Foundations certification from LinkedIn. Lastly, Michael is currently enrolled in UC Irvine, studying to become a Legal Assistant/Paralegal. Additionally, they obtained a Google Analytics For Beginners certification from Google in 2021.
