Batia Shafir

Batia Shafir has extensive experience in the field of Human Resources. Batia is currently serving as the Head of People at Next Insurance since September 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as a Senior People Business Partner at the same company from January 2021 to September 2022.

Before joining Next Insurance, Shafir worked as an HR Director at Novarize from July 2018 to December 2020. Batia was responsible for managing the HR function within the organization.

Prior to Novarize, Shafir had a significant tenure at Amdocs where they held several roles. Batia served as a Divisional HR Business Partner from December 2016 to February 2018 and as a Regional HR Business Partner from September 2014 to December 2016. Additionally, they worked as a Recruitment & Career Consultant at Amdocs from March 2011 to September 2014.

Shafir's earlier experience includes working as a Strategic HR Associate at Jewish Family Services from 2009 to 2010 and as an Evaluator at Keinan-Sheffy Ltd from 2007 to 2008.

Batia Shafir's education history includes obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree in Behavioral Science from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev between 2003 and 2006. Batia later pursued a Master of Science degree in Organizational Behavior at Tel Aviv University from 2010 to 2012. Most recently, in 2021 and 2022, they attended Bar-Ilan University where they focused on Group Facilitation.
