Ido Meroz

Ido Meroz has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Ido started their career as a Low Voltage Telecommunications Technician at RamPhone Telecom in 1999, where they worked until 2003. Ido then joined Amdocs as a Software Engineer, specializing in core J2EE development and web services. In 2005, Meroz transitioned to SAP Labs as a Senior Software Engineer.

In 2007, Meroz became one of the first developers at Perfecto Mobile. Ido took on various roles, including Senior Software Engineer and Software Tech Lead. Ido was responsible for designing and implementing central components in the system backend, as well as operational tools for deployment and data management. Meroz also led tasks related to mobile performance testing and cross-squad collaboration.

Since 2017, Meroz has been working at Next Insurance as a Backend Software Engineer. Ido played a crucial role in the company's growth, serving as one of the first employees and the 4th backend developer. Meroz later became the Backend Engineering Team Lead and Squad Lead, leading teams and squads of up to 10 people. Ido also took charge of strategic partnership initiatives, building a new team and overseeing the design and implementation of the partnership platform.

Throughout their career, Ido Meroz has demonstrated their expertise in software engineering, backend development, and team leadership.

Ido Meroz completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Systems Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in 2003. Later, from 2004 to 2006, they pursued an MBA in Marketing Management from Tel Aviv University's Recanati Business School.
