Jim Whetstone

Jim Whetstone has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Jim currently holds the position of Head of P&C Insurance Product at Next Insurance since June 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Hiscox USA, where they held various roles such as Senior Vice President; Head of Digital Trading, Hiscox Partner, Senior Vice President; Head of Digital Partnerships and Delegated Authority, and Senior Vice President, Head of Partnerships. Jim was also a Member of the Board at Hiscox Insurance Company Inc from January 2014 to June 2023. Before joining Hiscox, Jim worked at ACE USA as an Assistant Vice President, Professional Risk. Jim also served as Vice President, Technology and Professional Risks at Aon. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Senior Business Analyst; Product Manager at Webvan Corporation, a Senior System Analyst at Rockwell Automation, and an Independent Consultant at Whetstone Consulting. Jim started their career as a Senior Consultant at Andersen Consulting.

Jim Whetstone attended the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1988 to 1992. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus on Logistics.
