Rachel McClain's work experience begins in 2008 when they worked as an Office Manager and HR Associate at Next Jump. During their time there, they established standard operating procedures and facilitated a health insurance change. Rachel also began supporting rewards and loyalty clients such as AARP and MasterCard. In 2009, Rachel became the Director of Recruiting and Talent Development at Next Jump, focusing on college recruiting and large-scale recruiting events. In 2012, they transitioned to become the Head of Email Marketing, leading the email marketing team and developing strategies for revenue growth. In 2016, Rachel joined Next Jump's Leadership Academy team, where they helped design and manage immersive workshops for corporate leaders. Most recently, they have been working at Next Jump as part of the Perks at Work team, managing relationships with Fortune 1000 clients and strengthening platform engagement. Alongside their work at Next Jump, Rachel worked as a Project Coordinator at the Improvement and Development Agency in 2008, coordinating workshops and seminars on town planning.

Rachel McClain attended UC San Diego from 2002 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Ecology, Behavior and Evolution. In addition, they also attended the University of Nottingham from 2004 to 2005, studying Biology, General, although they did not earn a degree from this institution.
