Reuben Platon

Reuben Platon has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. In 2011, they started as the Global SEO Manager at Zazzle, where they led the SEO team and managed the organic marketing efforts. After that, they joined Yahoo in 2014, initially as a Marketing & Analytics Manager and later as a Product Manager, focusing on driving growth for Yahoo Small Business website. In 2016, they became the Head of Growth at Trimian, an early-stage startup developing mobile networking and messaging apps. Reuben then worked at Redbubble as the Product Lead for Global Acquisition. During their time there, they contributed to the company's product strategy and acquisition efforts. In 2020, Reuben co-founded Mockup Mark, an online mockup generator, and also worked as a Partner at RP Properties. Reuben further enhanced their expertise in growth and monetization as a Product Manager at Zendesk. Their responsibilities included improving self-serve funnels and expanding revenue for SMBs and mid-market customers. In 2021, Reuben became an Advisor for Southeast Asian startups at Cognity Labs. Currently, they are employed at Nextdoor, where they hold a role in Product Growth. Overall, Reuben's experience spans various industries and encompasses roles in product management, growth consulting, and entrepreneurship.

Reuben Platon is currently enrolled in the Kickstart Coding - Software Engineering Bootcamp, where they are pursuing a degree as a Software Engineering Apprentice. The focus of their studies in this program is on Python - Django and JavaScript - React.js. Prior to this, Reuben obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from De La Salle University. In addition to their formal education, Reuben has also obtained a certification in Growth Series | Retention + Engagement | Advanced Growth Strategy from Reforge, which was achieved in July 2015.
