Billy Smith is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as a Senior ROCC Operator Engineer at NextEra Energy, Inc. since March 2023. Previously, Billy held various roles at GE Renewable Energy, including Health Safety Environment Coordinator and Senior Technician, contributing to maximizing competencies through specialized training. As a Technical Lead at GE and an Advanced Wind Turbine Technician at EDF Renewable Services, Billy demonstrated proficiency in troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical issues. With leadership experience as the CEO and President of BK Construction, Billy successfully managed project execution and staff initiatives while fostering safety awareness at Blattner Energy as a Tower Assembler.
