Roberto Rivera

Roberto Rivera is an experienced professional in the nuclear energy sector, currently serving as the Manager of Fuel Supply and Projects at NextEra Energy, Inc. since 2007. In this role, Roberto oversees nuclear fuel procurement, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effective solutions for the company's nuclear fleet. Previous positions at NextEra include Principal Fuel Procurement Engineer, where responsibilities included managing contracts and procurement processes, and Principal Engineer, focusing on core loading patterns and nuclear design calculations. Prior to NextEra, Roberto was a Nuclear Core Design Engineer/Reload Project Manager at Westinghouse Electric Company, managing reactor design analyses and reload activities. Roberto holds both a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Science degree in Nuclear Engineering from Penn State University.
