Steve Monroy

Steve Monroy has extensive experience in the energy sector, specifically within NextEra Energy, Inc., where tenure began in May 2014 as a summer intern in Central Maintenance for Wind, progressing to roles such as PGD Engineer on the Solar and Energy Storage Fleet Team and the Energy Storage Fleet Team, ultimately advancing to the position of Senior PGD Engineer. In these roles, Steve Monroy provided technical support for solar and energy storage projects nationwide and engaged in root cause analysis of equipment issues. Additionally, Steve Monroy participated in the REDI program, enhancing skills through rotational experiences in various teams within the Power Generation Department. Educational background includes a degree from the University of Central Florida, completed in 2015.
