Alexandru Pașcan

Alexandru Pașcan has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and quality assurance. Alexandru started their career as a Software Developer, working as a freelancer from 2010 to 2014. During this time, they developed scripts and applets based on customer requests, maintained Wordpress sites and forums, and developed small apps in .NET for various clients.

In 2015, Alexandru joined MIND CTI as a QA Engineer. In this role, they tested and wrote test cases for a J2SE web frontend based on JBOSS, tested J2SE applications used in telecom services, and updated and maintained testing VMs. Alexandru was also part of the Agile rework team for a point of sale system, wrote SOAP API test suites, and developed personal regression suites using Selenium. Alexandru worked at MIND CTI until 2017.

From 2017 to 2019, Alexandru worked at R3PI as a QA Engineer. Their responsibilities included ensuring the quality of the company's products and services.

Currently, Alexandru is working at Nexthink as a Software Engineer In Test, starting in September 2019.

Alexandru Pașcan's education history includes a Bachelor's Degree in Information technology/Business from Universitatea "Ștefan cel Mare" din Suceava, which they completed from 2013 to 2016. In 2015, they also pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology/Economy at UHI. Prior to that, from 2007 to 2009, Alexandru obtained another Bachelor's Degree in Automation Engineer Technology/Technician from Universitatea "Ștefan cel Mare" din Suceava. Alexandru completed their high school education at Spiru Haret College of Suceava from 2004 to 2007, majoring in Computer Science.
