Carlos Martínez Tercero

Carlos Martínez Tercero has a diverse work experience in the field of IT infrastructure. Carlos began their career in 2008 as an Administrator of Systems at ALTEN, where they gained extensive experience in Windows Server administration and virtual environments using VMware vSphere and Hyper-v. Carlos then worked as a Consultant of Microsoft Infrastructure at NETCheck, where they specialized in SharePoint administration, design, and development, as well as implementing Office 365 services. In 2018, Carlos joined Grupo SM as a Cloud Infrastructure Administrator, focusing on Azure infrastructure management, automation, and cost optimization. Currently, they are working as a Cloud Operations Engineer at Nexthink, where their responsibilities include cloud operations and maintenance. Carlos's expertise lies in cloud infrastructure administration, automation, and various Microsoft technologies.

Carlos Martínez Tercero has a strong education background in the field of computer engineering. Carlos earned their Grado en Ingeniería de Computadores (Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering) from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, where they studied from 2008 to 2017. Prior to that, Carlos completed a Ciclo Formativo de Grado Superior en Administración de Sistemas Informáticos (Higher Degree Cycle in Administration of Computer Systems) from Instituto Tajamar, which they attended from 2004 to 2006.

Carlos is a Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, having obtained this certification from Microsoft in October 2019. Furthermore, Carlos holds a MCSA certification in Windows Server 2012, earned in June 2017, and an MCITP certification as an Enterprise Administrator on Windows Server 2008, obtained in May 2015. Finally, Carlos has demonstrated their proficiency in the Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC) Listening and Reading, achieving a score of 860, with this certification obtained in April 2015 through Capman Testing Solutions.
