Elisa Guantes has a diverse work experience in the travel and expense management industry. Elisa started their career at Manpower-Madrid Convention Bureau as a Tourism Officer from May 2012 to November 2012. Elisa then worked as a Travel Consultant at Grupo Transhotel from October 2011 to October 2013.

Elisa joined Lufthansa InTouch in October 2013 as an Airline Travel Consultant, where they handled customer queries in multiple languages, provided technical web support, and managed the loyalty program. Elisa also supported travel agencies with complex airfare constructions and managed re-bookings and cancellations. Elisa conducted coaching and feedback sessions to new hires.

In 2016, Elisa joined Citi as a Client Service Operations representative and worked until August 2017.

From August 2017 to October 2018, Elisa worked at Publicis Groupe as a Travel Procurement Co-ordinator. In this role, they acted as a point of escalation for travel-related queries, oversaw the implementation of the travel program in new acquired entities, and approved travel bookings and expenses based on travel policy.

Currently, Elisa is working at Nexthink as a Corporate Travel & Expense Manager. Elisa manages and oversees Nexthink Travel, Expense, and Credit Card Program. Elisa acts as a key point of contact for all travel and expense related matters, collaborates with finance and people operations teams, and organizes hotel room blocks for company internal events.

Elisa Guantes completed their Bachelor's Degree in Tourism and Travel Services Management at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos from 2006 to 2009. Elisa also pursued a Bachelor's Degree in the same field at Instituto Politécnico de Coimbra - Escola Superior de Educação from 2008 to 2009. In 2009, they earned an Associate's Degree in Sign Language Interpretation and Translation from Instituto de Enseñanzas Aplicadas de Salamanca.

In terms of certifications, Elisa obtained "The Eight Essential People Skills for Project Management (Blinkist Summary)" from LinkedIn in August 2020.
