Payal Wagh - Nair has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 2004 with Wipro BPO as a Reservation Agent (Process) and Customer Support Associate. In 2007, they moved to KAT Technologies as a Project Title. In 2008, they joined The Leela Kempinski Bangalore as an MT-HR (On Contract), where they were responsible for employee engagement and training, event organization, activity coordination, documentation, and more. In 2010, they moved to Courtyard By Marriott, Mumbai as an Assistant Training Manager, where they were responsible for implementing communication channels, Marriott culture, and core values, setting up policies and procedures, induction, performance management, and more. In 2012, they joined Magna Infotech Pvt Ltd as an Assistant Manager - Employee Engagement, where they were responsible for actively engaging key talent groups, administering satisfaction surveys, assessing engagement levels, and more. In 2014, they moved to Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi as a Specialist - Organisation Effectiveness & Engagement, where they were responsible for institutionalizing a culture of engagement, implementing employee engagement surveys, managing the creation of effective measurement and tracking of learning and talent development results, and more. In 2019, they joined Annalect India as a Senior Manager - Employee Experience, where they were responsible for influencing and coaching management through a variety of employment law and employee relations matters, ensuring HR strategies and projects align with the overall business strategy and plans, supporting HR admin with keeping the HR database and employee records up to date, and more. Most recently, in 2022, they joined Nextory as an HR Lead - India.

Payal Wagh-Nair obtained their MBA from Indira Instirute of Management between 2006 and 2008, with a focus on Human Resource. Payal also holds a B.Com from Pune University, which they completed between 2001 and 2004 with a focus on Marketing. In addition, they have obtained three certifications: HR as a Business Partner from LinkedIn in May 2021, Strategic Thinking from LinkedIn in July 2019, and Managing Projects from the Project Management Institute in October 2015.
