Michael O'Meara

Michael O'Meara has extensive work experience in the field of clinical operations and development. Michael currently holds the position of Vice President of Clinical Development Operations at NextPoint Therapeutics, Inc. starting from June 2023. Previously, they served as Vice President of Clinical Development Operations at Repertoire Immune Medicines from May 2021 to December 2022. Before that, they held the role of Vice President of Clinical Operations at FerGene from 2020 to 2021. From 2016 to 2020, they were the Vice President of Development Operations at Unum Therapeutics. Prior to that, they held positions such as Executive Director of Clinical Operations at Constellation Pharmaceuticals from 2011 to 2016, Senior Director of Clinical Operations at Synta Pharmaceuticals from 2004 to 2011, Director of Clinical Operations at Praecis Pharmaceuticals from 2000 to 2004, and Associate Director of Clinical Operations at Quintiles from 1991 to 1999.

Michael O'Meara received their Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from University College Cork between 1982 and 1986. Michael then pursued further education and completed a Master of Science degree in Pharmacology at Northeastern University from 1996 to 2000.
