Bryan Johnstone has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Bryan started their career at Kroger as a Courtesy Clerk from June 2008 to January 2011. Bryan then worked as an Outside Sales Representative at INSTANT ENERGY SOLUTIONS LTD from February 2011 to January 2012.
After that, Bryan founded The Insulation Guys in January 2012 and served as the Founder/Head of Sales until March 2018. In this role, they recruited sales representatives, developed and managed sales strategies, and targeted commercial contractors, developers, architects, and homeowners in Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana.
From March 2018 to June 2020, Bryan worked as a Medical Device Sales Executive at Cynosure, LLC. Bryan excelled in generating leads through various channels like cold calling, outbound email campaigns, networking events, and social media. Bryan also conducted sales presentations to assess prospect interest, target market, and intended use.
Next, Bryan joined Montway Auto Transport in June 2020 as an Enterprise Account Executive. Bryan played a key role in finding new commercial business opportunities and grew the book of business from zero to $1,500,000 in 18 months. Bryan focused on growth and retention within key commercial accounts, such as Avis Budget and Enterprise Car Rental.
In November 2021, Bryan transitioned to Next Quarter and became the Founding Sales Development Representative. Bryan built and executed a multi-touch go-to-market strategy, including email marketing, cold calling, and social media engagement campaigns. Within their first eight months, they exceeded expectations by adding over $2,500,000 in ARR to the pipeline and achieved significant monthly outbound lead generation.
Currently, Bryan holds the position of Director of Business Development at Next Quarter, starting in October 2022. In this role, they are responsible for managing the Business Development team and driving the generation and qualification of mid-market and enterprise level accounts for product demos. Bryan has implemented processes and workflows that enable the team to make a large number of cold calls per month, resulting in a strong booking conversion rate.
Bryan Johnstone graduated from Churchill High School in 2010, obtaining a High School Diploma. From 2009 to 2011, they attended the Livonia Career Technical Center and earned a Vocational Certificate in Business Administration, Management and Operations. Bryan later pursued higher education at Henry Ford College from 2010 to 2012, where they obtained an Associate's degree in Information Technology. In terms of additional certifications, Bryan Johnstone completed the Facebook Blueprint program offered by Facebook in January 2017. Bryan also became a Certified Sales Development Rep through memoryBlue in July 2022.
