Ingo Behrendt has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Ingo began their career in 1993 as an Assistant to the Management at Daimler Benz Industries. From there, they moved on to Siemens, where they served as a Solutions Director in Purchasing and Production. In 1999, Behrendt joined Nexus AG as the CEO, leading the company as one of the leading healthcare software companies in Europe. In 2002, they became a Board Member of Zehnacker Healthcare before transitioning to Vitanas GmbH & Co. KGaA in 2007 as a Member of the Board of Advisors. Most recently, Behrendt became a Board Member and Shareholder of Commodity Supplies AG, Wollerau, in 2019. Throughout their career, they have gained expertise in various areas such as IT applications, elderly care, and management.
Ingo Behrendt began their education with an Ausbildung as a Bank Clerk from 1981 to 1984. Ingo then pursued a degree in International Business Administration at the University of Applied Sciences Worms, earning a Dipl. Betriebswirt from 1985 to 1989. In 1990 to 1991, they undertook post-graduate studies of Information Management at the University of Konstanz, obtaining a Diplom-Informationswissens. degree. In 1992 to 1993, Ingo Behrendt pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance at Clark University. Their educational journey culminated in a Ph.D. in the field of Architecture of Environmental Information Systems from Technische Universität Berlin, where they studied from 1996 to 2002.
