Omkara Swami Muddineti, Ph.D., is a seasoned professional in the pharmaceutical industry with extensive experience in formulation science, particularly in complex injectables. Currently serving as a Senior Formulation Scientist at Nexus Pharmaceuticals since September 2022, Omkara focuses on the development of complex injectables. Prior roles include Formulation Scientist III at Nexus, PDM Scientist -II at Societal™ CDMO, and Assistant Manager - FR&D at Vimta Labs Ltd, with significant contributions to IND projects and complex formulations. Earlier experiences include Formulation Scientist at Dr. Reddy's Laboratories and roles at Zenara Pharma Pvt Ltd and Mylan Laboratories Limited, where expertise in various drug delivery systems was developed. Omkara holds a Ph.D. in Micellar Drug Delivery and advanced degrees in Pharmaceutics and Pharmacy from prestigious institutes including the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University.
