Dr. Varinder Sidhu

Dr. Varinder Sidhu has a background in agricultural robotics and research. They most recently worked as an Agricultural Robot Operations Specialist at Nexus Robotics, where they were responsible for evaluating robot performance, building client relationships, and improving overall productivity. Prior to that, Dr. Sidhu was a Graduate Research Assistant at McGill University, where they supervised undergraduate students, conducted literature reviews, and presented research findings. They also worked as a Research Assistant at Tennessee State University, gaining experience in tomato field and lab experiments, communicating with growers, and implementing pest management practices. Dr. Sidhu's work experience demonstrates their expertise in agricultural technology and research.

Dr. Varinder Sidhu's education history begins with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Agronomy and Crop Science from Punjab Agricultural University, obtained between the years 2010 and 2014. Following this, Dr. Sidhu pursued a Master's degree in Agricultural Sciences from Tennessee State University, graduating in the years 2015 to 2016. Dr. Sidhu then went on to complete a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Plant Sciences at McGill University, from the years 2017 to 2020.

In addition to their formal education, Dr. Varinder Sidhu has obtained several certifications. These include a CTU Master Certificate from Cannabis Training University, obtained in March 2020. In January 2017, Dr. Sidhu completed Hazardous Waste Management Disposal Training for Laboratory Personnel, as well as Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System training, both from McGill University. Finally, in March 2019, Dr. Sidhu completed Emergency First Aid and CPR/AED level C training from the Canadian Red Cross.
