Allison Smither, PhD is a Lead Research Scientist at nference, spearheading real world evidence studies for biopharma partners using the nference nSights™ platform. Prior to this role, Allison worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at The University of Texas Medical Branch interpreting epidemiological and laboratory data and as a Doctoral Student at Tulane University School of Medicine focusing on molecular epidemiology of high-consequence pathogens and public health. Allison also has experience as a Laboratory Research Assistant at Autoimmune Technologies assessing novel antiviral and antifungal therapeutics. Throughout their career, Allison has collaborated with various stakeholders, presented novel insights from data, and developed biomarker diagnostics and statistical modeling algorithms. Allison holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from Tulane University School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Louisiana State University.
