Russell Gilbert

Russell Gilbert has over 25 years of work experience, starting in 1996 at First Rental Ltd as a Senior Technical Service Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for configuring desktop and laptop computers to customer specifications, providing telephone support, and setting up PCs and monitors at exhibitions and training venues. Russell also provided onsite support for small networks. In 2001, Russell joined Dako as a System Administrator, where they served for five years. Then, in 2006, they joined Purely Computing Ltd as a Technical Support Manager, a position they held for nine years. Most recently, since 2016, Russell has been working at NFS Technology Group as a Product Deployment Manager.

Russell Gilbert attended The Knights Templar School from 1981 to 1987, where they obtained their O Levels in various subjects. Russell then pursued further education at the University of Bedfordshire from 1988 to 1991, earning an HNC in Computer Technology. In terms of additional certifications, Russell obtained several Microsoft certifications, including MCPS (Microsoft Certified Professional) in 2008 and 2012, MCITP (Database Administrator 2008) in 2009, and MCTS (SQL Server 2008, Implementation and Maintenance) in 2009.
