Andy Bates

Andy Bates has over 14 years of work experience in the IT industry. Andy currently works as an IT Asset Lead at NFU Mutual, where they are responsible for managing IT assets. Prior to this, Andy worked at Waterstons as an Executive Transformation Consultant, where they played a key role in attracting and engaging new customers through strategic marketing campaigns. Andy also provided IT solutions and support to various clients in the architecture, engineering, and housing sectors. Before that, Andy worked at Skanska in different roles, including Head of Asset & Automation and Service, Asset & Configuration Manager. In these roles, they led high functioning teams, negotiated global deals, and implemented automation systems. Andy's earlier experience includes working as a Service Support Manager at Skanska UK Plc, where they managed a team of analysts and implemented innovative support functions.

Andy Bates completed their secondary education at Guilsborough School from 1982 to 1989. Andy then pursued a Bachelor of Engineering with Honors in Civil Engineering at City, University of London from 1989 to 1994.
