James Winchester BEM has a diverse work experience that spans across various industries. James currently holds the position of Principal Accounts Underwriter (Commercial Insurance) at NFU Mutual, where they have been working since 2021. Prior to this role, they served as a Future Agent, gaining experience in commercial, personal lines, and specialist insurance.

James has also been actively involved with The Scout Association, starting in 1995, where they held multiple roles including ACC Cubs & Network, Training Advisor, and Queens Scout Award Advisor. James has also worked as a Youth Activities Provider for the Kingfisher Ward at Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

In the sports industry, James has served as the Football Safety Officer for Poole Town Football Club since 2016, where they hold the NVQ2 certificate in Spectator Safety and NVQ3 in Event Management. James has also worked as a Safety Steward and Door Supervisor at The Formative group.

In their professional career, James has held positions such as a Client Director at Konsileo, specializing in the Transport, Marine, Charity, and Manufacturing Industries. James has also worked as a Commercial Account Executive at Coversure Insurance. Additionally, they served as the Principle/Owner of a Shooting School and was a Board Member for Weymouth BID.

James Winchester BEM also has racing experience, having worked as a Driver for Jimmy Alfa Racing. James is dedicated, versatile, and has a wealth of experience in various fields.

James Winchester BEM obtained an Extended Diploma Level 3 in Event Management from The Open University between 2017 and 2019. Prior to that, they attended Poole High School from 2000 to 2006, where they achieved 14 GCSEs, 2 A-Levels, and 2 A's Level. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained various qualifications including Mental Health First Aider from Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England in 2023, Core Coach from British Fencing in 2021, and SIA Door Supervisor Level 2 from the Security Industry Authority in November 2019.
