In 2013, they became the Vice President of Global Business Development at Shine On Hollywood Magazine and the Director of New Digital Media and Advertising. Derek Tadashi then attended Lumbleu Real Estate School from 1992 to 1993 and obtained a Real Estate License in Real Estate Development. Derek Tadashi then attended California State University-Dominguez Hills from 1987 to 1991, studying Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. Lastly, they attended Violet Parkhurst Art School, studying Gallery Management. In March 2021, Derek obtained an edX Verified Certificate for Technology Entrepreneurship: Lab to Market from edX.
