Sarawan Karim has over 22 years of work experience. Sarawan started their career as the owner of Sarawan's coffeeshop in 1999. Sarawan then worked as a consultant for Open for Business from 2002-2003. From 2003-2006, they worked as a bartender and server for Oslo Kongressenter. Sarawan became a salesperson for Telenor Express from 2006-2008 before working as a team leader for Workshop AB from 2008-2010. Sarawan briefly worked as a Sales Manager and Marketing Manager for Widetelecom from 2010-2011 before becoming a Sales Advisor and Corporate Advisor for Telenor Sverige AB from 2011-2023. In 2016, they joined eGain Sweden AB as a Technical Customer Manager before becoming a Customer Manager for Southern Sweden. In 2019, they joined EcoGuard AB as a Technical Salesperson and remained in that role until 2023 when they began working as a Key Account Manager at Ngenic. Overall, their experience is mostly focused on sales and customer management roles.

Sarawan Karim has completed two different educational programs. The first was from 1994 to 1997 at Lindeskolan, where they received a degree in Handel&adminstration with a focus on För försäljning, handel och marknadsföring. The second program took place in 2014 at Telenor Business School where they completed Telenor WOW 1,2,3 in Sales and Sales Operations.
