Matt Fabijanic

Matt Fabijanic is a Senior Geoscientist at the Norwegian Geotechnical Institute, specializing in the interpretation of shallow seismic profiles and geomorphological analysis for subsea structure risk assessment. Previously, Matt accumulated extensive experience at ExxonMobil, serving in multiple roles including Regional Geophysical Advisor and Lead Geophysicist, where Matt focused on seismic interpretation and risk evaluation in pre-salt basins and Gulf of Mexico explorations. Other notable positions included Project Manager in Iraq's West Qurna 1 Field, Exploration Geoscientist in Angola, and various roles in interpreting seismic data across South America. Matt began a career in the United States Air Force as an Information Operations Officer and conducted research as an undergraduate assistant at the University of Chicago. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Geology from the University of Arizona and a Bachelor of Arts in Physics from the University of Chicago.
