Dan Carnegie

Dan Carnegie is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in public administration and human resources. Currently serving as Deputy CAO and Acting Commissioner of Public Works at Niagara Region since May 2023, Dan is dedicated to collaborating with the team and Council during the recruitment of a permanent commissioner. As the owner of DNC&Associates since July 2018, Dan provides coaching, mentoring, and executive recruitment services. Previously, Dan held key positions such as Chief Administrative Officer for the City of St. Catharines, Director of Corporate Support Services at OMHRA, and Vice President at Darcor Casters Limited. Educational credentials include a BA in History from York University.
