Nikola Murk

Nikola Murk has a diverse work experience in the field of information technology. Nikola started their career in 2001 as an Informix 4GL programmer and UNIX DBA at the Ministry of Defence. Nikola then worked as a System Administrator for Windows, UNIX, and network at GORA d.o.o. from 2001 to 2004. From 2004 to 2013, they held the position of Senior IT Specialist at Sberbank d.d., where they were involved in various IT roles, including Oracle DBA, SQL Server DBA, Linux sysadmin, and shell scripting. Additionally, they gained experience in Oracle VM, VMware, XenServer, SAN, and FC administration, as well as Data Quality, DW, and BI. Nikola then joined Sberbank banka d.d., Slovenija in 2013 as the Head of IT Operations & Infrastructure, where they worked until 2019. Currently, they are employed as the Infrastructure and IT Security Manager at NiceHash, a position they have held since November 2019.

Nikola Murk completed their VI degree in VTŠ Zagreb at the University of Zagreb/Sveuciliste u Zagrebu from 1995 to 2000. Nikola then pursued a VII degree in industrial electronics at the University of Ljubljana from 2003 to 2006. Continuing their education, they obtained a master's degree in Business Informatics from the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Economics, spanning from 2005 to 2009.
