Hayward Sanders

Hayward Sanders is the current Plant Manager at Nichiha USA, Inc. Prior to their current position, Sanders served as the Senior Operations Manager at TICA-Toyota Industries Compressor Parts America from July 2017 to May 2021. In this role, Sanders presided over four Assistant Production Managers, one Logistic Assistant Manager, one Maintenance/Facilities Manager, one Quality Improvement Supervisor, and ten supervisors. Hayward was responsible for improving efficiency and reducing costs, resulting in idle equipment while still meeting customer needs at higher volumes. Sanders also developed the visual manual process for training and took over the maintenance programs, establishing the TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) team.

Previously, Sanders served as the Plant Production Manager at TICA-Toyota from March 2016 to July 2017. Prior to that, they were the Operations/Business Center Manager at The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company from May 1994 to February 2016.

Sanders has been lauded for their work in reducing total plant accidents by 50%. Hayward has also overseen the reduction of customer complaints, from 63 in FY2019 to 9 in FY2020.

Hayward Sanders attended Shorter University and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and Biology.

They are on a team with Marc Yamamoto - VP & CAO, Jason Monday - VP, Sales & Marketing, and Mark Vincent - Director, Human Resources. Hayward Sanders reports to Hideto Yoshida, President & CEO.
