James Hancock

James Hancock, CPA, currently serves as a Staff Accountant at Nichols, Cauley & Associates, LLC, a position held since May 2022. Previously, James gained experience as a Graduate Assistant at Valdosta State University, aiding prospective students through the admission process, and worked as a Tax Intern at Carr, Riggs & Ingram, where responsibilities included preparing individual tax returns and assisting with financial documentation. As the Accounting and Finance Director for Berry College Student Enterprises, James managed profit and loss centers and led a team providing financial support. James also held roles as Budget Manager for the Office of Enrollment Management at Berry College and as an Accounting Intern at Donna Walker CPA. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Accounting from Valdosta State University and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Berry College. Additionally, James served as the State 4-H President, demonstrating leadership skills by overseeing a large organization and coordinating significant events.
