Hector Godoy

Animation Director at Nickelodeon Animation

Hector Godoy has extensive work experience in the animation industry. Hector began their career in 1999 as an Illustrator at EQUIPO SIRIUS in Madrid, Spain. Hector then worked as an Instructor at TRAZOS SCHOOL OF ARTS in 2004. In the same year, they also worked as a CGI Animator, Setup, Shading, Lighting, and Render at MONIGOTES ANIMATION.

From 2005 to 2006, Godoy worked as a Character Animator at Bren Entertainment, where they contributed to projects such as "Donkey Xote" and "Pérez, El Ratoncito de tus Sueños". In 2006, they joined Dygra Films as a Character Animator for the project "Spirit of the Forest".

In 2007, Godoy worked as a Character Animator at Ilion Animation Studios for the film "Planet 51" produced by Sony Pictures Entertainment. Hector also worked as a Character Animator at Framestore Animation and Framestore CFC in London, UK from 2007 to 2009.

Godoy then joined Blue Sky Studios in 2010 as an Animator. Hector held various roles during their time there, including Senior Animator, Character Supervisor, and Animator. Hector worked on projects until 2021.

In 2021, Godoy joined Walt Disney Animation Studios as an Animator and worked there for a year until 2022. Currently, they are serving as an Animation Director at Nickelodeon Animation.
