Jason McConnell

Jason McConnell has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and roles in the animation and entertainment industry. Jason currently holds the position of Vice President of Animation Development at Paramount Animation, a role they assumed in December 2021. Prior to this, they held the same position at Nickelodeon Animation starting in November 2021. At Nickelodeon Animation, Jason also served as the Director of Development from December 2019 to November 2021 and as the Sr. Manager of Development from January to December 2019.

Before joining Nickelodeon, Jason had worked at DreamWorks Animation as a Creative Executive in Feature Animation Development and as an Executive Assistant to the President of Feature Animation. Jason started at DreamWorks Animation in January 2017 and continued until 2019.

Prior to their role at DreamWorks Animation, Jason worked at Warner Bros. Entertainment Group of Companies as an Executive Assistant to the President of Feature Animation from September 2016 to February 2017. Jason also gained experience at United Talent Agency, where they worked as an Agent Trainee and Executive Assistant in the MP Lit Department from January 2015 to September 2016.

Jason's work experience began with an internship at Cross Creek Pictures as a Development Intern in 2014. Jason also has experience as an ESL Teacher at Web International English in 2013. Prior to that, they served as the Assistant Camp Director at Camp Half Blood Brooklyn, a role they held from May 2010 to August 2013.

Early in their career, Jason interned at ABC News Radio as a Production Intern in 2012 and at CollegeHumor.com as a Production Intern from September to December 2011.

Jason McConnell earned a Bachelor's Degree in Communication and Media Studies from Manhattanville College in the period from 2009 to 2013.
