Esperanza Lázaro Valero

Country Manager, Iberia at NICO.LAB

Esperanza Lázaro Valero is currently the Country Manager for Iberia at NICO.LAB. Prior to this, they worked as the IBERIA CORE IMAGING SALES MANAGER for GE Healthcare from January 2015 to December 2018. From January 2012 to December 2014, they were the IBERIA PERIPHERAL VASCULAR DIRECTOR for Covidien (which was acquired by Medtronic in 2015). In this role, they successfully merged the Endovenous and Arterial businesses into one team and was responsible for the talent development of the Peripheral Iberia Vascular Team. Esperanza also led the GLOBAL MARKETING EXCHANGE program in Minneapolis, USA and participated in the European Market Access and Medical Affairs Project. Esperanza is an active member of the European Peripheral Vascular Leadership Team and the Covidien Iberia Leadership Team. Under their leadership, the team achieved double digit business growth in 2013 and 2014, exceeding performance goals.

Esperanza Lázaro Valero has a certification in Corporate Governance from the Instituto de Consejeros y Administradores (ICA), a CAP in Teaching Certification from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, a Bachelor's degree in Art Theirtory from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, and a Bachelor's degree in Geography and Modern Theirtory from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Esperanza is also a basketball coach from the Federación Española de Baloncesto and has an M.B.A. from ICADE. In addition, they have a Good Corporate Governance certification from the Asociacion Española de Consejeros and a specialization in Management and Leadership from the Instituto de Empresa.
