Job description

Drive strategic engagement within the client Media Sales Group (MSG) for each segment, building go-to-market strategies and client-specific account plans to expand our business with existing clients, sharing best practices across other markets, and driving cross-country engagements and contracts for international customers.  Teams’ objectives will be revenue growth, create Nielsen awareness, and engage with new client to enlarge Nielsen product penetration as well.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • New Business Development
  • Develop monthly / quarterly / annual sales plans to identify growth opportunities with existing and increase new client.
  • Deliver agreed the OP target of quarterly / annual sales targets through new business development and upsell of the existing clients.
  • Create the new initial plan with the global Marketing team strategy or local prupose that helps to promote Nielsen as a brand to drive a high number of sales leads.
  • Build internal/ external relationships across Nielsen organization units, countries and MSGs g support with identifying opportunities and converting the sale.
  • Sales Strategies
  • Prepare and analyze sales practice and strategies to develop sales pipeline achievements and meet to the agreed sales OP targets (by quarterly/ yearly).
  • Understand industry trend and client needs to package the best profit of sales strategy on sales pricing and marketing.
  • Client Engagement
  • Develop strong and trust-based relationships with clients and key person in their organization.
  • Make the clear, concise and compelling presentations (proposals/solutions) with client communication to promote Nielsen’s professional and accesses.
  • Understand the different media solutions to combine Nielsen story on increase sales opportunities.
  • Monitor and encourage greater usage of Nielsen solutions in clients that is maintaining the renewal and upsell momentum.
  • Active on client activities or information to understand their needs as the basis of sales strategy
  • Internal Collaborate: With regional/ global commercial, product and marketing teams to ensure the right portfolio is available to clients. Provide feedback to product and operational teams regarding service developments to meet your client’s needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree or above in Business, Marketing, or Communications.
  • Minimum 3-5 years or above of media or sales experience, preferably in sales or marketing roles from the agencies/ advertiser sales/ media publisher industry, with knowledge and understanding of research, media, advertising and/or marketing in the market.
  • Exposure and strong network within the agencies, advertisers, marketing, media industry.
  • Experience in consultative selling process, including cold-call, pre-call discovery and setting appointments, drafting proposals, presenting the solutions & closing the deal.
  • Equipped with a sales hunter mindset to drive new business development with the aim to achieve or exceed set sales targets;
  • Team player with the ability to inject positive energy and a can-do attitude to the team/s.
  • Commercially astute – especially in proposing and negotiating solutions
  • Analytical and logical reasoning skills
  • Resilient, persuasive and self-motivated
  • Well organized with the ability to plan and prioritize;
  • Meticulous with strong attention to detail;
  • Proficient in Microsoft office or Google Suite Applications – GMail, Google Doc, Google Slides, etc;
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset to work well with others;
  • Fluent communication, writing, and presentation skills in both Mandarin and English
