Alex Patent

Alex Patent has over 20 years of work experience in technology leadership roles. Alex started their career at Accenture in 1999 as a Technology Integration Manager. Alex then joined Trenam Kemker in 2005 as an IT Manager, where they successfully led all aspects of information technology and implemented efficient systems and processes. In 2006, Alex joined WellCare Health Plans as a Director, leading IT infrastructure engineering and operations and achieving two promotions within two years. Since 2010, they have been working at NielsenIQ as the Vice President of Technology, responsible for global infrastructure architecture, engineering, and operations, managing a large team and a significant budget. Alex has driven digital transformation initiatives, implemented a cloud-first strategy, and developed innovative solutions.

Alex Patent has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science & Economics from Colorado State University Pueblo, which was obtained from 1993 to 1997. Alex also holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from the University of Miami, which was obtained from 1997 to 1999. Additionally, Alex has obtained certifications such as AWS Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft, ITIL from Nielsen, and Six Sigma Executive Black Belt from Nielsen.
